Minnowpool.

Minnowpool padded into the Shoreclan camp, a sizeable seabird held within her jaws, dragging between her front legs. As she walked, she lifted her head as much as she could, adding a little more lift by tilting her head back until she almost struggled to see as she pulled the bird along. She borderline waddled around it. The other members of the hunting patrol filed in behind Minnowpool, spreading out a little as they all entered the camp and made their way toward the fresh-kill pile. Minnowpool deposited her bird onto the pile, spitting out a couple of small feathers that had pulled out on the rough barbs of her tongue. She sputtered slightly, flicking her tongue against her front teeth to try to rid herself of the irritating feeling of the pin-prick of the small feathers between the barbs of her tongue.

The she-cat padded a few steps away from the fresh-kill pile before reaching out with her front paws in a luxurious stretch to rid herself of the discomfort the awkward walking position had created. As she stretched, she turned her gaze around the camp, taking note of all who were present within the clearing. Her ears perked up slightly at the sight of Heronfrost, the deputy – and her brother.

With a friendly expression touching her silver features she padded over to Heronfrost, her tail tip swaying in a greeting held above her back as she did so.

“Heronfrost,” she said. “How are you today?” Minnowpool asked, tilting her head slightly to the side.
