Hello, hello! She may be new OOC, but IC my gal Gullwind certainly isn't! I'm looking to fill out her history with prior acquaintances and relationships of all sorts over the course of her 70 moons.

I'm looking for friends, enemies, frenemies. Does she have beef with your character? Did she mentor your warrior? Are they an elder who remembers when she first trotted up to meet her mentor as a new apprentice? Who does she look for at Gatherings? Who are her go-to gossip buddies? Who wants to hear the story about her neck scar?

Hit me up! I'm happy to brainstorm with you to find a dynamic that works for both of us.

I think yeah, Gullwind probably strongly dislikes Maggotcheer for many reasons, but I think she's also got a grudging respect for her?
Like, ok, yeah, Maggotcheer's got an annoying voice and a vaguely menacing manner and she likes to push buttons (and Gullwind is mostly buttons), and surely she's got to be up to something but Gull doesn't know what—wait, that's a lot of reasons.
But she's a good fighter and she doesn't seem to have killed anybody in the clan yet. And she does things her own way—even if that way is incredibly grating. I think if push came to shove, Gullwind would be glad to have Maggotcheer at her ba—wait, no—at her side.

Re: Joining Maggotcheer's illegal trade ring:

oh no haha probably not right now. she's a lil lax about the warrior code, but I don't think she'd go that far (yet? 👀 )
I think gull could definitely be susceptible to some clever talking
esp if it were framed "for the good of shoreclan"

I'd be down to rewrite my boy Beefur's apprenticehood, just in who his mentor was! I like having relationships with pre-existing cats, so that's an easy fix.

This is what I have written currently of his apprenticehood in his history:

Finally, Beepaw would become an apprentice under the tutelage of Spottedfoot. Unfortunately, his rather short attention span and his fear of cats leaving made him rather difficult to train. He often requested that they would train alongside other mentors and apprentices, so that no one would ever be alone. While Spottedfoot would often relent, it became more difficult as time went on to find mentors and apprentices who were willing to work with the loud and perhaps too eager apprentice. His abrasive personality often made him hard to pair up, though Beepaw was always fortunate that his sister, Honeypaw, never felt that way towards him.

His apprenticehood was otherwise rather underwhelming, thankfully for him. Soon enough, he would be granted the name Beefur. At first, he found himself somewhat disappointed with the name, thinking it boring, until he remembered his cousin, the now deputy of GaleClan, Wapatofur. He took the name eagerly, excited to see what his own warriorhood might bring for him.

Which is probably pretty easy to just change Spottedfoot to Gullwind!

Man, poor Desertrose! :C Looks like there's room for her apprenticeship in Gull's timeline, so I'd be happy to have her! (also oh nO gull loves mommas and babies it'd break her heart to see her former apprentice going through it like that)

Also would love to have Copsetooth as an old rival. I hope they have rude little nicknames for each other (haha, well, gullwind will, even if copsetooth isn't as petty).

Frozenkingdom's an interesting case, I think! gull's a little friendlier towards galeclan than orchid (partly because of the aforementioned mentoring-of-medicine-cat). but that doesn't mean she has to like him. Probably gets a kick out of challenging him every chance she gets when he crosses into shoreclan. ("gullwind I was here last moon and I will be here next moon and I'm already being escorted by shoreclan cats everybody knows I'm here")
