Timberwolf has always been an intelligent cat, smart in both the ways of hunting and the ways of fighting. He’s quick-witted, witty, and has always had a charming side to himself. In his younger days, he was known as quite a flirt, although those times have long since passed. He has always been fiercely loyal to Orchidclan. [break][break]

He’s steadfast in his opinions, that he isn’t afraid to share. He’s an optimistic tom, trying to see the brighter side of everything, and trying not to show the internal melancholy that she’s felt since the passing of his mate, Holly, and even more so since he retired from his status as a senior warrior. [break][break]

In his old age, Timberwolf has shown a grumpy side, which usually comes out when he’s feeling stiff and sore; it’s no secret amongst the Orchidclanners. Since his retirement, Timberwolf has been lonely, although he does his best to hide this, trying not to look too longingly at the warriors as they go about their duties. [break][break]

The only child of Orchidstar, Timberwolf holds himself with pride. While he never fully followed his father’s pawprints of being a leader, Timberwolf has made his own way in the world around him. He has seen much of it, seen it on both the battle-front, as well as seen it as a mischievous tom out for late-night exploration. He is well-traveled, full of stories that he loves to regale the younger generations with… when the old tomcat can stay awake. He’s still a cheerful individual, despite the loss of his mate — some say he managed to keep himself chipper for his children… But, few realize that that chipper demeanor is the only thing that has kept the old tom going for as long as he has been.[break][break]

Timberwolf, once a formidable, handsome tom, now stands hunkered and grayed with age. He was a tom, who, in his younger days, displayed prowess, pride, and confidence within his demeanor, and while that pride and confidence still stands… the prowess has left him, but a ghost of his former self as his head now hangs below the hump of his shoulders. The length of his body sags a little lower than it once did. [break][break]

Even now, Timberwolf possesses a thick pelt, once sleek and shiny, it has now lost its sheen and instead appears lackluster. Although, he does not allow himself to appear more scruffy than he has to. Timberwolf keeps himself well-groomed, and his pelt free of debris. A thick, dark tabby pattern covers an earthen hue in tigerstripes. White touches his face, throat paws, and tail tip. Age has taken his face and turned it grey, a myriad of battles it has won across the tom’s still angular features. [break][break]

Green eyes still peer out at the world, as sharp as ever, although the beginnings of a cloud has begun to take them, making a blur steadily creep closer in his sight. Timberwolf’s eyes, however, still portray themselves as windows to the inside. [break][break]

The tom’s body is touched by scars of battles long past, and while they’re not always readily visible, they part his fur in strange ways when he bends to groom himself. A deep baritone makes up his vocals but is touched with the rasp of age.[break][break]

Born as the only child to Orchidstar, Timberwolf as a kit, was a rough-and-tumble little thing. He caused more trouble than he was perhaps due to, escaping the camp more times than he could count. There were multiple times he escaped in the dead of night and wasn’t found again until morning, not quite understanding why he was in so much trouble. [break][break]

As an apprentice, Timberwolf was still an escape artist and more than once snuck into the territories of other clans. Several times he was caught doing so, once or twice being taken to their camp until someone came to fetch him — usually his irate mentor, who tried his best to hide Timberpaw’s antics from Orchidstar. [break][break]

As a warrior, Timberwolf calmed down a lot. He was still known to cause some havoc, however, especially in his early days. He fell in love with a she-cat outside of the clan. She came to the clan long enough to give birth so that their kits would be raised within the safety of Orchidclan. [break][break]

Timberwolf held on as long as he could before retiring to the Elder’s den. He was nearly 95 moons old before he officially retired, the Leafbare of that year showing him that he wasn’t as young as he used to be, almost dying from an illness that had him confined to the medicine den for a time. [break][break]

Timberwolf, in his twilight seasons, has slowly started to show his age more and more; but he still retains some youthfulness to himself, in trying to keep himself busy within the camp, and venturing out when he’s able to. [break][break]
