Mr. Bisonstorm sucks. That's all. Bisonstorm's two essential mottos are as follows: "Survival of the fittest" and "For the good of the clan." The dynastic tom suffers no fools, freaks, or weaklings. To him, a cat is only as worthy as he is strong or she is fertile; chronic illnesses and eccentricities are shameful. If it were up to him, he'd weed out any OrchidClan cat who doesn't meet his minimum requirements (healthy, hearty, strong, intelligent, etc.), so as not to pollute future generation. But because he is oh so loyal to his clan, he chooses to obey their simpering, altruistic rules for the most part, except when it concerns his own offspring. They belong to him, after all, and it is he who gets to determine whether they live to pass on their genes or not. He is not a lawless monster, however. Bisonstorm has his own code of ethics that he follows to a T, and he always does what he believes is the most beneficial to society and his lineage. Don't believe him when he says it's never personal, however. He is a bitter, insecure cretin whose own failures, regrets, and inadequacies have left him a shallow version of the impressive cat he might have been with more support and love. The patriarch of a crumbling dynasty, he holds tightly to his family's traditional way of life for no reason other than his fear of being the weak thread in the tapestry.

history

Bisonstorm is the offspring of Oxfang and Deerface, two highly regarded and "pureblooded" OrchidClan warriors. The youngest of four conniving and malicious boys, his childhood was unpleasant to say the least. His parents were strict disciplinarians whose love came with firm conditions that, if not met, resulted in beatings and taunts. Oxfang and Deerface had a strong family reputation to uphold (one of strength and prestige), and they would not allow their own sons to be the ones to tarnish it. If Bisonstorm and his brothers weren't being abused by their parents, they were abusing each other, hoping to prove themselves the strongest and most skilled in the family. Despite Oxfang and Deerface's high aspirations, each son, except for Bisonstorm, passed away in physical altercations with either enemy warriors or dangerous animals shortly after their warriors ceremonies. Much to his parents disappointment, Bisonstorm, arguably the weakest of the litter, was the only son to enter into the traditional arranged marriage and pass on his genes. Brokenhearted at what had become of their lineage, Oxfang and Deerface died before Bisonstorm's mate, Curlflower, could give birth to their first and only grandchild, Bullwasp. Curlflower, who he had grown to love in his own way due to her kind and supportive nature, quickly followed Bisonstorm's parents, leaving him to raise their only child alone. Bisonstorm continued his parents' archaic traditions with Bullwasp and his son's eventual offspring, attempting to murder his grandson Goatstripe for perceived weakness.
