Bullkit was born on a nippy, magical awakening day in the early morning, a sense of an ancient earth-spirit rekindled that seeks to knit together all that is good. The early morning is the dominion of the birds, for they in the bright feathered plume are so very in love with the sunrise. His mother was still in her youth, appointed to a tom named Bisonstorm, who was also the sole kit's father. His mother, Curlflower, harbored a much gentler soul than his ghoulish, proactive father, Bisonstorm. The kit remained close to his mother for not long until she slipped from his grasp shortly after he was birthed. The damsel's scent dissipated, replaced by the aroma of another queen. he struck about three moons, eyes peeled and attentive ears. Bisonstorm shifted the young tomkit's entire world upside down.

◉ KITHOOD

Unfortunately, Bullkit didn't have much of a kithood since his father would pull him aside, visiting far too often, at least, in Bullkit's little mind. From the beginning, he wasn't very fond of his father since the tomcat didn't seem to care much for Bullkit's health. It was more about what Bisonstorm desired than what Bullkit needed. Bullkit was compelled to listen to his father, prowled by a watchful glare. At this age, he was more gullible, feeling inclined to hear Bisonstorm out, as the older cats amidst him seemed to authorize his father to see him. The kit often wondered if anyone witnessed or realized what Bisonstorm was doing; did anyone care? Bullkit was being torn asunder, falling in the wrathful paws of Bisonstorm; deep in the abysm where he won't escape for a very long time.

◉ APPRENTICESHIP

At six moons, the Leader held a ceremony for Bullkit, ranking him as an apprentice of OrchidClan. He wasn't entirely sure of the whole concept, nervous due to the immense pressure his father put on his shoulders. Bisonstorm was all about authority, strength, and pure blood. It was about power and control. Their bloodline adhered to the Warrior Code quite firmly, and continued to pass on monumental genes and restrictions. Bullpaw was massive, especially as the moons pressed on, and the mentor, the Leader, assigned to him, was known as Woodskip, an amiable and sincere tomcat. To some extent, Bullpaw was relieved, as it was an escape from his father's lectures and coercion. The tomcat learned to scrutinize the behavior of others, pinpointing expressions and what they could indicate. He picked up on things quickly, as his father began putting information into the tom's brain since he was three moons. Typically, parents would focus on nurturing and treasuring their young age, but Bisonstorm desired that Bullwasp retained knowledge fast, skipping over what a kithood is like.

Woodskip ensured that Bullpaw's training sessions were manageable compared to the secretive ones that his father followed up with. Occasionally, Bisonstorm stalked Bullpaw's sessions, doubting Woodskip's benign ways. However, Woodskip was a senior warrior, prideful in his work ethic toward training the young. He desired that his apprentices grow up powerful and efficient, though it was clear that even the frailest felines could be just as mighty as the placid, tyrannical warriors. Bullpaw was typically worn out by the ends of his sessions with Woodskip, considering they were effective and allowed him to comprehend possible scenarios. Woodskip was an excellent mentor, but it needed to be better in Bisonstorm's vision. At night, Bisonstorm would pull Bullpaw away from the apprentice's den and introduce him to more strenuous, prolonged sessions, depleting the young apprentice. These training lectures were nothing like Woodskip's, as a mistake was worth a strike. Bisonstorm delivered a couple of blows to Bullpaw when he'd slip up, provoking the feline to grow weary and cautious of his decisions.

Bullpaw wished he could find consolement in his mother or someone, but there wasn't anyone. He didn't have siblings, and the pressure was all on him. The apprentice began to ponder what it would be like to have siblings; would it be any different? Would the largest of the litter get the worst of it? He harbored numerous inquiries that he kept confidential. Since he was the only kit, he was the largest and instead, he assumed he'd find out what it would be like for his future litter. He was too young to think about those things, but all the bachelor could do was dread the future. Bullpaw's training between Woodskip and Bisonstorm was excessively exhausting, and Bullpaw neglected to reveal to Woodskip why he was so fatigued. Eventually, Bullpaw reached his breaking point, telling Woodskip about what was going on, and unfortunately, the warrior was somewhat terrified by Bisonstorm. All the senior warrior offered was a change of perspective, attempting to mold Bullpaw differently than what Bisonstorm was accomplishing. Bullpaw wanted to listen to Woodskip, but Bisonstorm possessed control over Bullpaw that no one could bypass.

Learning from both his father and Woodskip provided benefits but also multiple cons. Bisonstorm installed a meticulous mind into Bullwasp, configuring condescending emotions within the youthful bachelor that all felt warped and bewildering. Bullwasp only partially understood his purpose except for passing on his genes and power. It was becoming familiar and sickening to the tom, moons gradually turning; soon named Bullwasp for his incredible strength and loyalty.

◉ WARRIORHOOD

Bullwasp was relieved to become a warrior, praying that this pressure would be all over. However, it wouldn't ever end; little did the sire realize. Bisonstorm was constantly at Bullwasp's flank, discussing the possible mates for the behemoth tomcat. At just fifteen moons, his father arranged for the warrior to become mates with a she-cat named Marigoldbreath. The sire was apprehensive about the circumstances, as he didn't feel prepared to handle another individual, nor did he even harbor any feelings for her. The bachelor didn't want to betray or loathe her existence, as it all felt unfair and illogical. Bullwasp attempted to get to know his new mate, Marigoldbreath. She was a sweetheart, the type of feline his father typically despised due to their spineless nature. Bullwasp desperately wanted to love the opposing warrior, but he believed it was impossible to love someone he was propelled to be with. Bisonstorm watched in the distance, often pressuring Bullwasp to expand the bloodline. All the older tom wanted was the next litter, more power, more fresh blood. Disgusting.

Bullwasp retained a ton of rage, suppressed by the armor he placed over himself. If it weren't for Bisonstorm's controlling and demanding demeanor, Bullwasp would've turned out differently. The tom frequently felt ashamed of himself, starting to develop frightening thoughts about the elder tom. A few moons passed, and there was still no connection between him and Marigoldbreath; nothing felt right about their relationship, but both parents were expecting kits. The only mutual conversation they ever seemed to have was initiating a litter of kits. It wasn't long before the Medicine Cat informed Marigoldbreath that she was pregnant, and the process would be over sooner than she may realize. Seemingly, Marigoldbreath was silently excited about her kits, prepared to nurture and love them until they left the nursery. Bullwasp insisted to his father that he allowed the kittens to breathe, best left alone until they reached six moons. Bullwasp feared and anticipated the future of his kits, possessing an ill feeling that the same thing would happen to the kits that happened to him.

Fortunately, when Goatkit, Ramkit, and Sheepkit were born, Bullwasp could keep his father astray until they reached six moons. The kittens at least got to have somewhat of a kithood, but that would all be forgotten when Bisonstorm got to them. Upon their warrior ceremonies, they all received mentors, and before Bullwasp could consent, Bisonstorm dragged the warrior along. Bisonstorm convinced Bullwasp to permit him to train the kits, and Bullwasp was welcome to join. Bullwasp's stomach churned anytime he joined these sessions, observing as his father molded Rampaw in the same way he developed Bullwasp. Watching his son go through the same thing was terrifying, and his question had been answered. Bisonstorm cared less for Sheep-paw and Goatpaw, only treasuring the largest of the litter, Rampaw. Behind the curtains, Bullwasp was propelled by Bisonstorm to lecture his son, Rampaw. Bullwasp didn't want to participate but felt inclined to, fearing what his father might do or say. Bullwasp was somewhat envious of his son's size, as the pressure was slightly discharged off his shoulders. It felt tremendous yet disappointing.

Amid his son's training, Bullwasp was assigned an apprentice, and he had fallen off from the sessions with Rampaw. It was at twenty-five moons when Bullwasp had received his very first apprentice. The bachelor explained to Bisonstorm that he must focus on his apprentice, Heronpaw. His apprentice's name had been Heronpaw, a petite damsel. She was a delicate, quiet feline, just as Thistlewhisper technically was. Maybe this wouldn't be too hard after all. He had hoped to teach her his hunting technique and strategy, as he mainly excelled at hunting. He excelled in other areas, such as combat, but he appreciated hunting. The great thing was she appeared to be a quick learner and learned visually and through auditory. Bullwasp quickly became obsessed with having an apprentice, driving his energy and putting all of his efforts and focus on his apprentice. He wanted to demonstrate that he could do much more than follow beneath his father.

At first, many weren't confident that Bullwasp would be able to get the job done, or maybe he just wasn't ready for an apprentice. He believed he could prove them wrong, wanting to make sure Heronpaw would become a mighty warrior and hopefully better than himself. Bullwasp began teaching Heronpaw in a way that replicated his mentor's rather than Bisonstorm's, explaining the topic with detail and physically showing the feline what was going on. With a quick learner, she'd become a warrior in no time. She was granted a warrior named Heronreed for her spirit and loyalty toward the clan when she reached eleven moons. Bullwasp had grown fond of his apprentice over time, being able to open up to her. She was easy to talk to, considering she was a great listener and offered sound advice, just as Bullwasp often did in his own strange way. Their similarities mix well, forming a good, quality friendship.

When his children became warriors, he wanted to congratulate and praise them, but his father would've disapproved. Over the moons, he gradually became colder and harsher, preferring solidarity. Bullwasp strayed from his family as much as he could, avoiding his father's menacing ways. The weight had fallen onto Ramhorn due to his behemoth, muscular frame. He was more significant than Bullwasp, and that was what Bisonstorm desired. The older sire never gave up, and sure he would start pressuring Ramhorn into having his first litter. Since Heronreed's ceremony, he had taken on an apprentice named Stagpaw, a grey-blue she-cat who was rather bashful. The tomcat was somewhat apprehensive about the circumstances but would console himself that he would be a fantastic mentor. Bullwasp had his moments but was a great director compared to those he grew up with. Bullwasp excelled in hunting more than fighting but would hopefully improve during training an apprentice. He couldn't see himself getting much better at climbing, but he would give it a shot anyway. It's not as if he was allowed skip such while training his apprentice. Upon Stagpaw's apprenticeship ceremony, she was assigned to Bullwasp, where they had spoken for the first time shortly after the ceremony. He was pleased to meet the younger feline, as she was a fragile essence.

After discussing the first training session, Bullwasp spent their day trekking the territories and the border while getting to know her apprentice through a questionnaire. He asked a relatively simple question, which might've given a loaded response. He was curious about Creekpaw's goals in life and what she wished to accomplish. Through doing this, he figured she would focus on what Stagpaw most desired to learn. To Bullwasp's relief, Stagpaw wasn't interested in climbing, as she was learning to hunt and fight. Of course, those weren't her only focus, but two of the major ones. His apprentice was swift to pick up anything Bullwasp explained to her to do. She hadn't constantly perfected it the first time, but with minimal encouragement, Stagpaw strived on. Deep down, like Bullwasp, Stagpaw was determined to perform any task given. In this timeframe, his son, Goateye had gone missing, but something about how his father approached him was...off. Bullwasp was devastated but hadn't been able to express these feelings, suppressing them away just as he had with any emotion he felt. Constantly suppressing his feelings had led to his unsentimental demeanor. Bullwasp believed he could've been a better father and still can, but Bisonstorm needs to go. There was only so much Bullwasp could do, and he was stuck.

One day, Bullwasp took her out into the territory for hopefully one of her last few training sessions. She had an unusual feeling awakening within the chasms of her solar plexus, concocting better cognition. Bullwasp remained on his toes; whether it was the righteous thing to do or not, he didn't inform his apprentice of this ill-feeling. The damsel emitted his first few words, beginning his lecture. He was going to extend more on climbing, doing more explaining than action, since Bullwasp typically failed miserably when climbing since there were few trees in OrchidClan territory to worry about. However, this was his opportunity to monitor how Stagpaw executed and attempted to pursue after his apprentice. Fortunately, Stagpaw didn't entirely need visual reenactment on how to climb. Without assistance, Stagpaw lunged at an angle toward the bark, slightly above the tree's trunk, utilizing her appendages correctly to ascend toward the nearest branch. Bullwasp nodded in satisfaction, proud of the apprentice he's been training.

An unfamiliar aroma entered his nasal passages. He kept his gaze upon Stagpaw, hoping there wasn't something harmful in the tree, talons unsheathing as he boiled with adrenaline. Stagpaw glanced around frantically, grateful she'd been a decent tracker. Stagpaw detected a fox peering through the bushes a few measures away from Bullwasp, who only gazed his way. Stagpaw wanted to shout but wasn't sure whether or not that was the shrewdest thing to do. She didn't want to dismay the fox; she wanted to ensure it never considered returning to this area again. Bullwasp was panicked but remained coolheaded, loosening his physique negligibly for mobility. Within moments, he heard the shrubbery behind them rustle, a fox lunging from them in his direction. Bullwasp shifted on his toes, staggering to the side when the fox merely struck his flank. Stagpaw dropped from overhead, anchoring her grapnels into the fox's nape with a ferocious hiss. Her talons sunk deep beneath the skin, taking a small chunk out of his nape. It may have been minimal, but blood was shed. The blue-gray apprentice sheathed her claws briskly, using her hindquarters to kick away and create distance. The fox was startled, wailing out of apprehension when he'd been battered from above. The suspicion alone sent the fox fleeting away with blood trickling.

Bullwasp hadn't foreseen the bravery out of Stagpaw; as the apprentice always told those around her, she was unsure how she'd endure an actual scenario. Bullwasp chuckled sheepishly, feeling proud of the to-be warrior. He wanted to finalize the session right then and there but authorized Stagpaw to practice the overhead blow a few more times. Bullwasp was larger than Stagpaw, allowing for a sturdy physique below. Once returning to the campsite, Bullwasp reported back to the leader, enlightening them on what went down and how well Stagpaw presented herself. Bullwasp would've customarily been embarrassed that he'd staggered in a fatal fight, but he was scornful to announce Stagpaw's accomplishment. He believed that she's improved between easing up, being herself, and succeeding with most skills.

His second apprentice's warrior ceremony was being held, and he couldn't have been more confident in her skills at that moment. Stagpaw was honorably renamed Stagfox for showing excellent refinement in herself and technique; of course, she was honored for her fight. Bullwasp hadn't had much going on since then, allowing his life to run its course behind the control of Bisonstorm. He will only sit tight for so long until he snaps; the time has yet to come.

◉ BIRTH

Whitekit was born to Swampbeaver and Tundraswan as the only kit. As Tundraswan's first litter, she seemed to be excited and very caring (at first). Little did tiny Whitekit know that he was going to be raised in a dysfunctional and neglectful family; developing his personality to care less and crave a genuine connection.

◉ KITHOOD

He hadn't been enthusiastic about becoming an apprentice, portraying disinterest. Even less, he showed adequately no care to become a warrior. Though little did he know, his future mentor would challenge him. Eventually, it was a few days before his apprenticeship, as he was reaching around six moons. Whitekit would complain to his affectionate, supportive mother that he hadn't felt prepared or desired to live this lifestyle. He wasn't sure how to think about any of it. His mother consoled him with a few gentle licks atop his head, followed by, "I know you're probably scared, nervous, unprepared...but we all must for our survival, my dear Whitekit," A crooked smile crossed his mother's countenance "You will do incredible, without a doubt, becoming a warrior is such an honorable experience." The molly concluded, the diminutive kit nuzzling into the Queen's neck. Something about his mother's tone was nerve-wracking.

In his kithood, he had particularly found himself at his cousin's flank, Wapatokit. The two were closest in age, and Whitekit was born alone until his younger siblings would come along moons later. Little did Whitebark realize his life was going to be rather solitary, primarily due to his chaotic and neglectful family. As his apprenticeship was closing in, Tundraswan was becoming more careless of her sole kit, seeming to focus more on herself and her duties. What was the point of having kits if his parents wouldn't be attentive? It was clear his whole bloodline rejected giving their kin unconditional love. It was nonexistent. When given attention, it was harsh and brutal. He was pushed around and belittled by those he wanted to make proud.

◉ APPRENTICESHIP

The tom's apprenticeship would take a tremendous shift as the moons persisted. Before he knew it, his first training session was about to commence, meeting Stonegaze at the camp's entrance. Many emotions washed over the apprentice, dreading this session with Stonegaze. He was treacherous and bore zero limits. It wasn't the warrior's first rodeo as a mentor, as Whitepaw would be his second. Whitepaw had an excellent mentor who consistently encouraged him to become a dutiful and respectable warrior, but he still didn't know what to expect. Stonegaze explained that he would introduce the territory to Whitepaw to grasp the surroundings. Meanwhile, they would get to know each other a bit better. Whitepaw felt alleviated that he cared to know his apprentice, soothed by his gentle vocalizations. Was Stonegaze that bad? He didn't have to find out today, but possibly another day. Stonegaze's last apprentice was more uncomplicated to train, though the mentor remained inflexible and made sure to hit every skill, adding extra hours to training. When he worked with his previous apprentice, the sessions were tough. Whitepaw thoroughly enjoyed his first lesson, as it was simple and pleasant. The two talked about themselves, explaining their goals in life. However, Stonegaze was shocked to hear Whitepaw didn't intend to become a talented warrior. He wanted nothing to do with this lifestyle.

Stonegaze didn't press the circumstances, as the mentor believed he could convince Whitepaw that this was a wonderful life. Whitepaw was satisfied that Stonegaze didn't attempt to compel his beliefs, relieved that he wasn't as blunt as numerous deemed to portray him. The next lesson was unexpected. Stonegaze informed Whitepaw that the next training session would focus on tracking, which would lead to learning how to hunt and climb. There were multiple dexterities Whitepaw must retain and succeed. Stonegaze was only partially where to start, as he typically wasn't soft toward anyone. Whitepaw was nervous for his first, true lesson, considering he had to illustrate his practically nonexistent skills. He never played with his siblings as a kit, constantly at his mother's flank, concealed in her pelage. During the lesson, Stonegaze was intense, pushing Whitepaw to his limits, feeling the exhilaration as he scrutinized the apprentice and supervised. Whitepaw was no longer gleeful, understanding what others meant by Stonegaze's intense, commanding persona, as displayed during sessions. The two trained for a few hours every day, never allowing Whitepaw to have much of a rest. The apprentice frequently felt depleted, sleeping when attainable. It was always as if he didn't get enough rest, sore and feeling distressed. There were days his mentor would train twice a day, during the night and day, to grasp how different the times can be.

As he continued and thrived through his apprenticeship, Whitebark began to realize that something within him didn't feel fitting or comfortable. The feline didn't enjoy being referred to as a tom, as well as identifying with it. Whitepaw didn't believe that they belonged to the female or male gender role, inquisitive about the fluidity of gender. Non-binary was a more suitable identity for Whitepaw, allowing them to express that to those amongst them freely. For the past few sessions, it was clear to Stonegaze that Whitepaw hadn't been concentrating on training, and so that's how the introspection came about. Whitepaw felt more at peace, especially after coming out to his mentor. After all, they didn't have a good family they could run to and display their excitement for discovering who they felt they were meant to be. They were very relieved to have Stonegaze in their life, although it wouldn't be enough structure to guide the feline through life with ease. It was going to be complex and questionable.

The lectures pressed on, Stonegaze eventually permitting the apprentice to acquire an interlude, giving him about two days between each session when he reached eight moons. His first two and a half moons were fatiguing and an absolute adrenaline rush. Whitepaw gradually grew more monumental than his mentor; the more diminutive, lithe f explained the behemoth size advantages. Whitepaw was proliferating in size, typically displaying that an individual would be massive. Stonegaze's visage would occasionally travel to Whitepaw's enormous digits, knowledgeable that those huge paws could guarantee damage due to their hefty differentia. Stonegaze observed that Whitepaw's predominant skill succeeded in combat, followed by rapid swimming and climbing mastery. Interestingly, Whitepaw couldn't entirely hunt sufficiently, though he had an extraordinary nose, tracking down unfamiliar cats, other mammals, and prey. His disinterest was hunting, even though he needed to eat to survive. Whitepaw relied on his clanmates to hunt for the Clan. However, when invited on a hunting patrol, he never denied it, inclined to attempt furthermore. There were many patrols Whitepaw assisted in exiling unwelcomed loners and rogues, gaining a well-rounded reputation. He was doing just as his parents wished and hoped for him.

With everything Stonegaze exemplified, Whitepaw made sure to remember the information he'd taught him and allowed him to practice. Another few moons passed, and Whitepaw had combined training sessions now and then with a fellow apprentice, Blazingpaw, and his mentor. With very contrasting personalities, the two apprentices had been relatively competitive; thankfully, they maintained an adequate association. They rarely quarreled. The two would pride each other, glorifying their dexterities and providing advice, even after mentors had. The two became best friends from sparring together. Stonegaze was proud of how much his apprentice was accomplishing, feeling that he'd succeed in apprenticeship quicker than he'd imagined. At first, Whitepaw displayed no respect nor care regarding eventually becoming a warrior, but now he prospered and permanently desired to exhibit improvement. Whitepaw used to be uptight concerning any of what he was accomplishing now, scornful of himself for how far they'd come.

The upcoming night was the most eventful, disturbing day of his life. Stonegaze and Kestrelrain had wanted to take three growing apprentices on a stroll, excusing it as a nightly patrol, bringing along two fellow warriors who departed ways. It wasn't long into the conversation that Whitepaw spoke, brows furrowing out of concern, "Coyote..." Whitepaw murmured, skimming the surroundings, "I smell a coyote. We could be in danger." His vocals were slightly panicked, his parents quickly enveloping their children out of protection.

"It knows we're here. We must move quickly, Driftpaw; go get the others," Kestrelrain communicated sternly, her gaze shifting toward Whitepaw, waterworks seeping from her visionaries. Kestrelrain was unbelievably proud of her mate's apprentice. "Whitepaw, you're amazing. He's not close yet, but he's coming. Your talent in tracking is otherworldly." With a tense smile, she faced forward as Duskmane covered the backside. Blazingpaw and Whitepaw monitoring the opposing sides, the felines huddled in a circular position, rearing to one another.

"Stonegaze, watch!" Before Stonegaze knew it, the coyote launched from the shrubbery, grappling Duskmane around the nape. Duskmane was large but didn't surpass Kestrelrain's size, perhaps why the coyote headed for Duskmane first. Blood instantly spilled, the older warrior yowling in agony as the coyote's grip fastened. It was petrifying. Whitepaw took a sharp inhale as both apprentices froze for a moment. They hadn't experienced anything like this before. Whitepaw quickly scrambled to a defensive position, watching the coyote vigorously shake his father. It was brutal. It took a lot of mustering up the courage to attack, eventually making his move. "Blazingpaw, get the flank. I'll go for the top, Kestrelrain; you get the other flank!" They authorized the situation, astonished by the words coming out of his maw. Stonegaze taught him well. Whitepaw pivoted on his foundations, lunging at an inclination up the tree, propelling himself up the trunk with powerful hindquarters, talons grasping the bark, assisting in the fluid movement toward an elevated, thick branch.

Dropping Stonegaze, the coyote veered toward Kestrelrain, who attempted to weave around the coyote; meanwhile, Blazingpaw headed for the flank. Kestrelrain swallowed thickly, petrified, although she pressed on and lunged, getting trapped between the coyote's jaws. Within seconds, Whitepaw reached a large branch to preserve his weight. He'd been targetting the coyote's backside from overhead, shifting his weight as he dropped from above. Whitepaw had unsheathed his lengthy grapnels, gripping the coyote's flesh as he wrapped his mandibles along his nape, sinking his teeth in. The coyote released a limp physique, meaning both of his parents were killed. Feeling blood ripple from the coyote, he felt somewhat accomplished, unprepared to discover his parents were no longer alive. Blazingpaw had used his forepaws to strike and slash the coyote's flank, soon joined by Driftpaw and the other two warriors from earlier. Whitepaw tugged upright, angling his neck slightly to lacerate the skin while being struck by four other felines. It was five against one, and the coyote was giving in. Yelps escaped the canine's mandibles, eventually escaping the warriors' wrath and sprinting deep into the forest. The three apprentices quickly dashed to their parents, falling to the ground as they observed the lifeless cadavers surrounded by a pool of blood. The lacerations ran deep, leading to a brisk, primarily painless death. The two warriors consoled the apprentices, guiding them back to camp with little to no goodbye. It was disheartening, particularly for Whitepaw. The warrior he looked up to most was gone. His clanmate, Kestrelrain, was no longer there to give him advice and push him through.

From there on out, Whitepaw became more distant. That night, they mourned the death of two marvelous warriors, Stonegaze and Kestrelrain. The two other apprentices, alongside himself, had their upcoming warrior ceremony, honored for their bravery and utilization of their remarkable skills. The leader began, naming Blazingpaw, Blazingfox for his intellect and arrogance, and Driftpaw as Driftripple for her quietness and light demeanor. Last but not least, Whitepaw was renamed Whitebark for their resilience and reserved persona. The three had finally been warriors, but they were parentless. Stonegaze quickly stepped up, obviously conscious of the deaths, and took the three youthful warriors in as their own.

◉ WARRIORHOOD

Whitebark was grateful they'd become a warrior, but every day was a challenge for him, missing his mentor and his mate day by night. Blazingfox assisted his good friend with their mentality, pushing them to strive and cherish the memories that they made with them. Blazingfox was their son, and somehow, he managed to remain strong enough to hold Whitebark up and the other apprentice who witnessed it. There wasn't a day that Whitebark didn't think about all the gracious conversations he enclosed with Stonegaze and Kestrelrain. After several moons, he had recollected himself, though he never reverted to his social perspective. Whitebark was a loner despite being in ShoreClan. The warrior was young and had a prolonged life ahead of him as a warrior.

It wasn't long after Whitebark became a warrior that Wapatofur's mother gave birth to another kit, and the tom returned to fetch her. It left Whitebark wondering what happened to the bond that Wapatofur and they once had. He recalled the day that his cousin left, and it left them with a strong distaste for Wapatofur, and GaleClan in general. He wasn't a fan of GaleClanners, and he couldn't believe that Wapatofur left him alone with their dysfunctional family. Not only that but in the midst of it all, Tundraswan had gone missing and was eventually presumed dead, as she never returned. Whitebark didn't even feel hurt by this, as he dreaded every day in ShoreClan. He wasn't ever sure what to expect next between everyone within his family.

Koikit had been born into ShoreClan, her mother Mottledstream, and her father, Jayfrost. The two parents were a gentle pair, making them the perfect parents. Mottledstream had gazed at her three kittens; the dark kit was easily named Shadowkit, while the first calico born was Morningkit for her various ginger patches. The third born was the most distinct; her wooly fur was detected from birth, and her pattern was much like a koi's. Since when Mottledstream was an apprentice, she figured she'd have kits and name one Koikit, whether the coloration was black, orange, or white. Koi could be solo colors as well, so she was in luck.

Mottledstream remembered when she had bumped into a loner, peering into a pond while she was an apprentice. The loner stated his name had been Koi; gazing into the pond, he spoke up, chuckling when Mottledpaw questioned what the name meant. "You see this fish in the water?" He'd examine, his paw pointing to the colorful fish swirling within the water pond. "These are Koi. They come in many colors, but my favorite is the white, orange, and black Koi." Mottledpaw was impressed by this, hoping to name a future kit after this name. The loner continued, "Legend says these Koi fish resemble fortune, courage, perseverance, longevity, positivity, and strength, but that's all I have for you." She smiled at the memory, visage returning to her most miniature kit, Koikit.

◉ KITHOOD

The pair made sure to give all kits an equal amount of affection and attention, being sure to speak to all three and not keep anyone out. This being, the family would be close, Morningkit and Shadowkit born alongside Koikit. The three kits delivered were all three mollies, which Jayfrost was a bit unfortunate with, considering he wanted a tom-kit to be able to mess with. Luckily for Jayfrost, he had a kit who enjoyed a tussle and didn't mind being teased or tossed around. That would be Koikit; meanwhile, the other girls focused on their mother and listened to her stories. Koikit had an excellent relationship with her father, bewildered that her sisters preferred to listen to stories. 

◉ APPRENTICESHIP

Finally, the day of Koikit, Shadowkit, and Morningkit's apprenticeship ceremony had arrived, the three being renamed and assigned their mentors to begin their journey to warriorhood. Koikit was energetic and astonished that the day finally came, excited to start the work of becoming a warrior. She hoped to become an honorable, respected warrior, planning on working her rear off. She didn't want to let her parents down or anyone, especially those of higher authority. Koipaw was one of those youngsters that looked up to the leader and deputy, hoping to hold that position one of these days. She was too young now, obviously, but she could dream. Koipaw had high hopes and dreams. The thing was if she could accomplish them or not.

Koipaw's mentor had been a she-cat named Myrtlestep, an intelligent and soft-hearted molly who excelled in stealth and battle technique. Koipaw wasn't disappointed, considering Myrtlestep was a respectable warrior with a soft heart. She would enjoy getting along with someone who wouldn't argue with her. The unfortunate thing was for Myrtlestep since she'd be dealing with a rather stubborn and insensitive apprentice who worried for her future and wanted the best. A bit selfish, that seemed as well. Myrtlestep had gone through training for a few hours a day and night, having the apprentice go at it with her every dawn and dusk. Koipaw had been exhausted by the time she had been nine moons, more often visiting the Medicine Cat's den than she wished to. She didn't understand the medicine cat, not understanding how someone wouldn't want to engage in battle and patrols, choosing medical help over such went over her head like nothing else. She prayed she didn't appear weak, visiting the medicine cat's den as less as possible. Occasionally, she'd skip out on it and bug Myrtlestep to train her anyway when demanded to go.

Myrtlestep would comply, though she disagreed with her apprentice's stubbornness to show in the medicine cat's den for rest and her health. Myrtlestep was stuck, often reminding Koipaw how essential her mental and physical health were. Eventually, Myrtlestep had enough of Koipaw's stubbornness, explaining that she wouldn't continue training as a threat for Koipaw to get the rest and whatnot she needed when visiting the medicine cat. Around eleven moons, Koipaw had gone out on a border patrol with Myrtlestep, Mottledstream, and Morningpaw with her mentor. Meanwhile, Shadowpaw was stuck training with Jayfrost, who was made her mentor. Koipaw couldn't imagine training with her father, though, at the same time, she figured that Shadowpaw was lucky. While out during the border patrol, Koipaw demanded the four follow her, considering an unfamiliar aroma reached her nose. It appeared Mottlestream froze, dubiously following after her upcoming warrior, stopping in her tracks when she saw who stood above her child. Mottledstream swallowed hard, "I hope you're just passing through, feline," She'd scowl at the tall, russet ginger tom.

"Awe, sister, I've missed you," The voluminous brute 0f a tom cooed, cocking a nonexistent brow, "This your kit? I figured she would run." He chimed, pressing Koipaw's crania into the terrain, her chin pressed into the dirt. She wanted to mew for help, but she knew this was her chance to show her mother and the other three what she was made of. Koipaw allowed her hindquarters to raise, kicking out from beneath the giant paw of the russet tom. Cardinal snickered, but his laughter halted when Koipaw raked his trachea area. Blood began to seep through the russet fur, "Five against one wouldn't be fair; I suppose I'll have to come to visit when your children aren't around to ruin things." He purred, the rumbling in his throat deep and harsh. Mottledstream had only frozen in shock, remembering the first two kits Cardinal murdered. This tom was her brother, who was exiled for the murder of Redkit and Snowkit, Mottledstream's first litter.

The memories spun through her mind, quickly running to her kit, whose claws were bloodied through her protection of herself. She snuggled close to her apprenticed kit, "Never go ahead like that on your own unless you're a warrior," She explained out of concern, "But...I should have trusted you since you survived and defended yourself." With those words, Koipaw felt butterflies fluttering deep within her abdomen, glad to be praised by her mother. Myrtlestep approached her apprentice, a grin upon her countenance, "You will make a fine warrior, young Koipaw." Myrtlestep hummed pleasantly, clearly proud of the apprentice's escape from the russet tom. However, Myrtlestep's humming abruptly stopped, gazing harshly toward her apprentice, "But next time, don't be so sure about an opponent." This brought up questions from Koipaw, who was bewildered about why the tomcat referred to his mother, Mottledstream as "sister." "Who is he, mom?"

"My brother, Russettalon. He changed his name, now referring to him as Cardinal. He's dangerous, my dear, Koipaw. He's brutal. Next time you see him, turn in the other direction. I can't allow myself to lose you to him." Her mother explained. Koipaw could tell her mother was upset, nodding her cranium. She realized that she needed to obey her mother's words for her mother's sake. If she could, whatever happened between Cardinal and her mother, she would get her paws bloody if needed.

◉ WARRIORHOOD

Soon after Koipaw's situation with the border patrol, at thirteen moons, she had earned her warrior name. The warrior ceremony for all three sisters, Koipaw, Morningpaw, and Shadowpaw. Koipaw had been named Koisplash for her calico-patched pelage and ability in swimming, an excellent swimmer she was. Morningfire called for her fierce and passionate persona. Last but not least, Shadowhaze for her ditziness but earned her warrior ceremony for improvement and courage.

Weaseldance had been in the nursery one Leaf-Fall evening, birthing her kits. The three kittens were born; one ginger tom, one brown and black tabby she-kit, and a diluted calico she-kit. All three kittens were close in size, the tom being the largest, but the sisters were close in proximity of size. Weaseldance and Elkfoot had been relatively giant felines for GaleClanners, so it wasn't surprising that their kittens would also grow to be significant, other than one, who seemed to be born the runt. These two kits were named Rabbitkit, Harekit, and Ferretkit. Their parents expected their kits to develop into powerful fighters, with a behemoth size, towering over most of their clanmates, despite that little Rabbitkit had thrown things off. She was loved unconditionally despite that. They believed the three children would become great additions to GaleClan, nonetheless.

◉ KITHOOD

As the trio of kits spent their days playing together, it was evident that Harekit, the only male amongst his sisters, was often the target of their playful aggression. It was unusual, as one would expect the opposite, but the size difference between Harekit and his sisters was significant, which gave him an advantage. Despite their efforts, Harekit managed to handle his siblings quite well, and he seemed almost unbothered by their attempts to overpower him. Harekit enjoyed spending time with his sisters, and if it meant being picked on, so be it. Rabbitkit and Ferretkit were particularly fond of teaming up against their brother, often double-teaming him in play fights, making it more difficult for him to manage. Harekit was occasionally able to defeat his sisters, but most of the time, he allowed them to win, not wanting to hurt their feelings or bruise their egos.

Their father, Elkfoot, noticed the dynamics between the siblings and took it upon himself to mentor Rabbitkit, giving her advice on how to challenge her larger brother. He wanted them to have more to handle and depict their next move, which would help them grow and develop their skills. Rabbitkit was delighted to receive advice from her father, and she took it to heart. She found joy in the challenge of pinning her siblings, especially her brother, Harekit, whom she looked up to. She was amused when her father praised her for her strength and skills despite her smaller size, and she relished the disappointment on her siblings' faces when she defeated them. It was a source of pride for her, and she enjoyed the feeling of being strong and capable. Rabbitkit wouldn't allow her smaller size to deter her from conquering challenges in life, especially come apprenticeship and warriorhood. She never really spent time with other kits, considering she was relatively timid and nervous about what went in the next few moons.

◉ APPRENTICESHIP

The day had come for their apprentice ceremony. Rabbitkit, Ferretkit, and Harekit stepped up, listening to their names being called and renamed for their apprenticeship. Ferretkit and Rabbitkit were satisfied with their mentors. Still, Harekit had been complaining that he wanted a more experienced warrior since he was a young warrior, first-time mentoring. Meanwhile, Rabbitpaw was assigned to an intense-looking tomcat, someone who was more solitary in camp. He was menacing in the eyes of Rabbitpaw, regarding his intimidating aura. Rabbitpaw was nervous and somewhat terrified of how her apprenticeship would go beneath Sparrowclaw's guidance. When her training had first begun, Rabbitpaw was stumbling over her large paws, unable to keep up with the speed of Sparrowclaw's training style. Sparrowclaw put her through the most realistic situations. However, this only made her more determined, eventually getting the gist of how her training worked and following with speed. She enjoyed a challenge, and that's precisely what Sparrowclaw was constantly tossing in the damsel's direction. Sparrowclaw was a determined and powerful tomcat, prepared to face any challenges, and Rabbitpaw admired that despite her fear of how he perceived him.

During the initial training sessions, Rabbitpaw was highly anxious and lacked confidence in her ability to learn and process new information. She was constantly worried about her performance and whether she would be able to make her mentor proud. However, one day, while she was chatting with her clanmates, she unexpectedly ran into her mentor, Sparrowclaw. As he walked away without a word, Rabbitpaw froze up, unable to continue her conversation with her friends until one of them brought her back to reality. Later on, to her surprise, Sparrowclaw apologized wholeheartedly for his past behavior, revealing a more humane and gentle side of himself that she had never seen before. This experience allowed Rabbitpaw to see beyond Sparrowclaw's façade and appreciate his mentorship even more. From there on out, she felt more thrilled to be under the guidance of Sparrowclaw, feeling more confident in his presence. She was relieved that she could finally let loose a bit more around him, although remain concentrated enough to learn properly.

As Sparrowclaw commented about not exposing his softer side, Rabbitpaw couldn't help but let out a cheerful giggle. Despite Sparrowclaw's apparent belief that being vulnerable was a weakness, Rabbitpaw harbored a different perspective. She believed that showing one's genuine emotions and vulnerabilities required a great deal of strength. However, she decided to keep this thought to herself, at least for the time being, out of respect for her mentor's perspective on the matter. As the moons passed, the bachelorette honed her skills and developed a respectable sense of discipline, earning her the prestigious rank of a warrior. She was named Rabbitchirp for her bubbly and friendly personality, though in vain of her agility and fluid movement. Despite the initial perception of some warriors who regarded her as too carefree and scatterbrained, she proved them wrong time and time again with her exceptional abilities. Driven by a desire not to let down her mentor, Sparrowclaw, she remained steadfast in her commitment to hard work and focused on her goals with unwavering determination.

As a newly appointed warrior, Rabbitchirp was delighted to find that her former mentor, Sparrowclaw, continued to accompany her on patrols. During these outings, they would catch up with each other, sharing stories and simply enjoying each other's company. For Rabbitchirp, this was more than just a chance to spend time with a respected member of her Clan; it was an opportunity to deepen their friendship. She treasured the bond they had been developing and looked forward to each patrol with Sparrowclaw. She could tell that Sparrowclaw cherished their bond, as she saw him as more than just a prickly, insensitive warrior.

◉ WARRIORHOOD

Since Rabbitchirp's warrior ceremony, a few moons had passed by, and Rabbitchirp and Sparrowclaw were out on patrol when they were ambushed and attacked by a fox. As the attack took place, Rabbitchirp and Sparrowclaw found themselves in a life-threatening situation. Despite the danger, Sparrowclaw's instinct to protect Rabbitstep kicked in, and he quickly leaped in front of her to shield her from the fox's attack. Unfortunately, in doing so, he received a severe wound on one of his back legs. The pair fought back with all their might and managed to chase away the fox, but Sparrowclaw's injury was grave, and he fell to the ground, bleeding heavily. It was a terrifying moment for Rabbitchirp, as she'd hate for anything to happen to the warrior who got her to where she was at that moment. It was sickening to see this occur, and she knew it wouldn't be the last time she witnessed a clanmate get hurt.

Rabbitchirp felt a sense of urgency to get her former mentor back to their Clan as soon as possible, with the hope of tending to Sparrowclaw's wound and saving his life. Despite the challenge of carrying an injured cat, she was determined to do everything in her power to get Sparrowclaw to safety. Fortunately, Sparrowclaw was not too much more significant than her, and Rabbitchirp was able to carry him back to Frozenkingdom, where he could tend to his wound and nurse Sparrowclaw back to health. Rabbitchirp was left alone to manage numerous patrols without the company of her former mentor at her flank. Frankly, she felt saddened during those times, praying to StarClan that Sparrowclaw would recover well. Between her duties, she would visit him daily, checking in on Sparrowclaw's progress in healing. She wanted to see him get back into what he knew best, and that was serving GaleClan. He was a great asset and one that couldn't be severed under Rabbitchirp's eager gaze.

As time passed, Sparrowclaw slowly but steadily began to recover from his injury, and Rabbitchirp was grateful to see him getting more robust with each passing day. After a few moons of rest and recovery, Sparrowclaw was finally able to return to his warrior duties, much to the relief of both himself and his Clanmates. During the time Sparrowclaw was recovering, Rabbitchirp noticed how restless he had become being confined to the medicine cat's den. She could see the fire in his eyes and the eagerness to get back to his warrior duties. She was happy that he was finally able to live the life he had always known and valued.

Nowadays, Rabbitchirp dedicates her days to her warrior duties, making new friends and embarking on exciting adventures. She finds great satisfaction in serving her Clan and has developed a strong bond with her fellow warriors. Despite the challenges she has faced, Rabbitchirp always looks ahead with optimism and excitement. As she continues to grow and thrive in GaleClan, she can't help but wonder what the future holds for her. With so many moons ahead, she is eager to continue exploring her curiosities and following her heart. One thing is for sure - Rabbitchirp is determined to make the most of every moment and live her life to the fullest.

In the frigid depths of Leafbare, when the trees were bare, and the air was thin, Sturgeonkit made his entrance into the world, born into the ranks of ShoreClan. Little did he know, his true origins were shrouded in mystery, waiting to be unraveled. The mother of Sturgeonkit was named Chimaerathorn, a ShoreClanner, while his father was born into OrchidClan, by the name of Serpentblaze. It was a forbidden love, one that was worth it for the pair. Sturgeonkit was birthed alongside his sister, Reefkit. Sturgeonkit was named for his coloration of a sturgeon, whereas his sister was named for her beautiful coloration.

◉ KITHOOD

During the first few moons of his life, Sturgeonkit spent a significant amount of time with his mother and sister. He wasn't particularly interested in the rambunctious play of the other kits, especially after witnessing the tussles between them. Despite the presence of other kits similar to him, he felt no urge to join in. Instead, he preferred to observe his surroundings and learn from them. He noticed how the elders communicated with each other and how the warriors gathered for patrols. As a result, he developed a keen sense of observation and an ability to learn from his surroundings.

Sturgeonkit was jittery, his heart heavy with the absence of his father. He longed for guidance and support but needed to figure out where to start. His mother cherished his father deeply, though only in secret. Sturgeonkit and Reefkit respected their mother's privacy, keeping her secret confidential to themselves. One day, Chimaerathorn took a chance and snuck beyond ShoreClan's borders to meet her mate, Serpentblaze. The children accompanied her, eager to meet their father. At five moons old, the kits were filled with a mix of excitement and apprehension as they journeyed to see the elusive Serpentblaze. When they finally arrived, the kits were overjoyed to meet their father. Serpentblaze was a paragon of warmth and kindness, and the kits felt an instant connection to him. Despite the forbidden nature of their parent's relationship, Serpentblaze quickly became an invaluable role model for the kits.

The meeting was brief, as they didn't want to risk being caught by either side and incurring the wrath of StarClan. But even in that short time, the kits had gained a newfound sense of hope and belonging. They treasured the memory of that meeting and looked forward to the day when they could be reunited with their father once again. Sturgeonkit valued spending time with his sister, cherishing her with everything in his heart. He adhered alongside his Chimaerathorn's flank, though his furtive, capricious demeanor provoked apprehension in those amidst his. For the most part, Sturgeonkit was a very mischievous, upbeat kit, as he wouldn't age into this meticulous and mysterious individual for a couple more moons. He was too young to comprehend that much, but he still possessed an inquisitive intellect regarding other felines and how their mentalities functioned. Sturgeonkit discovers himself at his mother's side more than his sister as he didn't intend to pursue his curiosities exceeding the Clan's campsite. In distinction, a majority of kits are prepared for the exterior presented. Sturgeonkit attempted to deter his interest in developing a curiosity about the outside, though he continually treasured nature and what the outside proposed.

◉ APPRENTICESHIP

The life of Sturgeonpaw was about to take a drastic turn as he was about to embark on his apprenticeship. The announcement came early in the season of Newleaf, revealing that he would be apprenticed alongside Reefpaw. Both of them were assigned to two fierce warriors, each with their own set of unique skills that they would pass down to their eager apprentices. However, Sturgeonpaw needed help to concentrate during his training sessions with his mentor. His mind would often wander, thinking about his father and how his life would have been different if he had both parents to guide him. Despite this distraction, Sturgeonpaw remained determined to make the most of his apprenticeship and learn all that he could from his mentor. Within two moons of his training, Sturgeonpaw and Reefpaw couldn't wait to see their father again, and Chimaerathorn attempted to convince them they couldn't just yet.

It's been about four moons, and they desperately wanted to see Serpentblaze. Reefpaw had the idea to slip away from camp late at night, just before the late patrol returned. So, that's exactly what the pair did. The two siblings wandered out into the lukewarm night, and winded up getting lost exploring the vast territory of ShoreClan. They found themselves at the cliffs, struggling to find their way back home. "I haven't come this far, Reefpaw, have you? We should get back home. Sturgeonpaw expressed, concerned that his sister wanted to press on.

"I just want to find the path mom took; it'll be easy from there, Sturgeonpaw! We got this.." She was clearly excited and didn't want to back down from this challenge. Although the eerieness of the night kept taunting Sturgeonpaw, the aroma of predators surfaced—foxes and then a nearby ShoreClan patrol.

"We need to return home, Reefpaw. Let's go." This time, Sturgeonpaw was serious, vocals stern and filled with trepidation. He started to turn while his sister went the other way. The scent of their enemies grew closer, and the two got separated as they dashed in opposing directions. Sturgeonpaw didn't go home that night, as he found himself trespassing into the lands of a different clan. The aroma wasn't like his father's, and it was much different. Sturgeonpaw assumed it was GaleClan's territory, to which he was correct as his paws pressed into the dry, sandy grounds of the grasslands. The grasslands were a vast and open landscape of dry, sandy beds covered in tall and swaying grasses that stretched out for miles. The grasses range in color from vibrant greens to golden browns and are interspersed with various wildflowers and shrubs. Much different than the softer, gritty soil in ShoreClan.

By day, Sturgeonpaw was exhausted, continuing to move through the night without rest. As the sun rose, and the morning came, it wasn't long before the early birds began their hunt. Sturgeonpaw's heart was racing as he heard the sound of wings fluttering above him. Before he could react, a hawk descended upon him, reaping him up with its sharp talons. Sturgeonpaw cried out in pain as the hawk's talons left deep gashes in his shoulders. He struggled to break free, but the hawk was too strong. As he was carried higher and higher into the sky, Sturgeonpaw's fear turned into determination. He knew he had to escape before it was too late. With all his strength, he clawed and bit at the hawk's talons until, finally, they released him. He plummeted towards the ground, thankfully not too high to cause further harm. He tumbled across the grasslands and rose to all fours shakily. He peeked up at the hawk as it soared away, a newfound respect for the predators of the wild filling him.

Wholly drained from attempting to escape, he crawled toward the nearest shrub, collapsing into the terrain. As Sturgeonpaw lay wounded and exhausted on the grasslands after the hawk attack, he was discovered by Basilstar, the leader of GaleClan. The concerned leader quickly brought the wounded apprentice to Frozenkingdom, the medicine cat, to tend to his injuries. Sturgeonpaw was grateful for Basilstar's help and admired the great leader for taking him under his wing and welcoming him as his apprentice.
