Cat Name: Antlerpaw
Pronouns: she/her
Mate: None
Bio: Antlerpaw and her sister Fawnpaw were the result of a coupling between Creamblossom, an OrchidClan warrior and a male Kittypet. Creamblossom had met the housecat while out on a solo hunting patrol and the two had an instant connection…well at least that’s what Creamblossom had thought. Not long after, Creamblossom realized she was pregnant and hid it from her clan for a while before it became obvious. Convinced she would tell him and he’d want to leave his house-folk to be with her and raise their kits, Creamblossom snuck away to tell him. Upon telling her lover, Creamblossom was quickly informed by him that he had no such intentions of raising kits with her, that he was a prize winning show cat, and he had duties to the other purebred queens his humans brought in for him. Heart broken, Creamblossom returned to OrchidClan to give birth to and raise her kits all on her own. Creamblossom gave birth to two healthy girls which she named Fawnkit and Antlerkit, and as it’s a queen’s choice if she wishes to reveal the father, she kept that information to herself. As kits, Antlerkit and Fawnkit were as close as sisters could be, they did everything together. Fawnkit was definitely the bolder of the two, while Antlerkit was the softer, more reserved kit, preferring to keep to herself and observe the going-ons around her. As she grew, Antlerkit retained her soft-spoken nature and demure personality, her mother often worried she would struggle as an apprentice and later as a warrior, not really cut out for the harsh realities of life. However, much to Creamblossom’s relief and admittedly surprise, due to her conception; When named Antlerpaw she was made the Medicine Cat’s apprentice. Shortly after becoming the Medicine Cat’s apprentice, Fawnpaw started to drift away from her sister, as she began her warrior training; she became jealous of her sister, thinking that she got the better apprenticeship and role in the clan.

Character name: Bullwasp.
Biography:
Bullwasp is an incredibly decisive tomcat, despite his father's constraint upon him. He makes decisions relatively quickly, though pondering sufficient reasoning behind his conclusion. His choices take time, but they are brisk and ingenious. He refuses to make decisions too quickly, believing they fail. With an honest mentality, he prefers to respond to others with the first thing that comes to mind, assuming that truth is the most influential remark. His spoken words are honest, but his actions or expressions often convey otherwise. He prohibits lying unless he suspects that the falsehood is reasonable enough to keep to himself. His meticulous psyche prevents the bachelor from snaking into anything unwelcoming or detrimental, ensuring his concentration on detail is precise and worthwhile, developing an extraordinary intuition. Gathering information is something Bullwasp has excelled in ever since he started attending to his father's advice and knowledge. He's extremely cautious, comprehending everything that he may deem beneficial, accumulating information in the depths of his mind for future utilization. Surprisingly, Bullwasp is efficient at handling situations in a practical and realistic sense, rational with his concluding verdicts or determinations. Inherently pragmatic in nature, he endeavors to deter from putting himself or his family in jeopardized circumstances.
Despite his typical honest demeanor, Bullwasp can be somewhat contradicting regarding his confidential behavior. He is someone who will preserve a secret if he deems it logical enough, as there's no need to harbor a secret that isn't worth maintaining. Bullwasp blunders to contain any knowledge that isn't worth comprehending, but he will retain anything with profundity and detail, qualified of importance, later down the path without budging. Skeptical of everyone and everything amongst him, as he flounders to entrust those shrouding him, even his clanmates of OrchidClan. Bullwasp consistently has suspicions about how others think or proceed with certain situations, incapable of laying his fate in the paws of other individuals. At heart, Bullwasp is strong-willed, determined to go with his heart and mind, as he doesn't simply make decisions with one or the other. His thought process is profound and critical, holding himself firmly to what he's come up with. It is challenging to shift the tomcat's decisions or perspective, as this was engraved in him by his father. Unfortunately, Bullwasp struggles with communicating his emotions, hardly understanding what sensations occur and what they are. He is quite unsentimental, rarely displaying sadness, tenderness, or anything that feels soft. Whenever he does show emotion, the bachelor often criticizes himself in hopes of dissuading those unwanted feelings.
From an outside standpoint, it's transparent that Bullwasp is quite unwelcoming, bearing an intimidating stare that doesn't pivot much in expression. With such an aloof spirit, it is challenging to befriend Bullwasp, as he prefers to keep others as accomplices or acquaintances rather than a proper bond. He speaks in a terse, monotonous tone, seemingly callous and distant from those amongst him. He doesn't try too much to uphold any relationship, as too many feelings are involved. The warrior can be deceitful, despite his predominantly unpretentious demeanor. He is undoubtedly good at conveying emotion in a way that appears natural, although it isn't. Due to monitoring others' behavior, he understands emotions to an extent, as he discovered it's easier to replicate them than present authentic feelings. Bullwasp is envious of numerous things in life, such as the feeling of love between two cats. He has never understood what love is or how it feels, as he doesn't love his appointed mate, Marigoldbreath. The tom is desirous of experiencing genuine sentiments and covetous of those who authorize themselves to become soft. Envy often crosses Bullwasp's mind due to how Bisonstorm raised him and that Bullwasp can't be forthcoming with his sexuality. All he wishes for is a family that cherishes one another. Frankly, Bullwasp encloses a morbid disposition, portraying an interest in anything fatal or revolving around death. His morbid mentality may have transpired in Bullwasp, considering Bisonstorm's restraint and authority over him and his family. The bachelor feels stuck, leading to outrage in the depths of the monumental warrior.

Which position: Deputy.
Which Clan: OrchidClan.
Why: First and foremost, I would say activity is the most important OOC role of a leader. Without an active leader, there's not necessarily an opening for heavy plot ideas, considering the deputy oversees everything within the Clan, aiding the leader. The high ranks must be engaging to develop intriguing plots and add some drama to the pot, and I believe Bullwasp is nearly perfect for that. In my eyes, high ranks are there to stir the pot, after all. As an HR, I would make sure to think up exciting plots and events (of course, through suggestions to the Staff Team) to maintain an engaging plotline. I find it essential to adapt to the roleplayer's recommendations, working around or with them for future plots! I believe others deserve a chance to bring up ideas to the High-Ranks! I would want the members of OrchidClan to indulge in heftier or simply dynamic concepts. I always welcome ideas with an open mind, and I never try to discourage ideas, and instead revise if needed.
Bullwasp can easily make decisions, as they're thought-about quickly, even with rational reasoning behind them. He doesn't blunder when it comes to decision-making, as the wrong judgment can lead to jeopardy. With an extraordinarily pragmatic and meticulous mentality, Bullwasp looks for logic and rationality before concluding his determinations, refusing to put the Clan or his family in danger. He is terrific at gathering information and spreading this knowledge, desiring the best for those amongst him, even if they aren't necessarily his family but rather clanmates. His loyalty doesn't budge despite his terrible bond with his family, constantly swallowing his pride to consider others even though his sympathy barely exists. His skepticism is a good thing to an extent, as it'll allow him to develop slow-burning, exciting relations with the other Clans. He would work closely with his deputy, ensuring that the decisions he intends to make are for the better, as they will most likely be. Over time, I can see Bullwasp becoming more personable and open with the Clan, searching for the opinions of those beneath his reign and discovering a clearer head. Due to the way he was raised, he understands the importance of strength and vulnerability. He is competent in encouraging others in a less commanding and brutal way, as he's done with his previous apprentices. Bullwasp possesses an observant eye and naturally intuitive demeanor, keeping note of everything going on within the Clan's perimeters and even monitoring the other Clans if necessary. Unsure of who to trust, he must be watchful to protect his Clan.
Roleplay Examples: I provided these to show how he'd handle different situations.
SCENARIO 1:
A patrol comes back to camp with reports that one of the other clans has moved their scent markers a few fox lengths into your territory. The leader of the patrol is a known hothead and has whipped his patrol up into a frenzy, insisting that a raiding party be organized immediately. Several other cats agree, and in no time you have pawfuls of cats volunteering. Meanwhile, your medicine cat advises you against starting a war and reminds you that the full moon gathering is only a few days away, and that would be a good time to air this grievance. What do you do?
Numerous thoughts were churning the tomcat's mentality, swallowing thickly as he endeavored to compose his thoughts amidst the chaos enveloping him. His piercing amber gaze flickered from one individual to the next, each voice accumulating into a more profound catastrophe. As much as he desired to holler and instruct that they cease their requests, he observed for a moment, a gruff, caustic chuckle escaping his mandibles as he thought back on the Medicine Cat's advice. My medicine cat is correct, and I must agree with that thought. He scanned the group of boisterous clanmates, stepping to a higher peak to gather everyone's attention. "Allow me to speak!" Bullwasp communicated in his husky, bitter vocalizations, slightly louder than the group, feathery tail flicking in haste as he rubbernecked at those standing beneath him; his shadow cast across the crowd. The cats encompassing him silenced, averting their intense visage toward Bullwasp, who displayed an indecipherable countenance. "We are the cats of OrchidClan, entitled to our logical thinking and clever decisions. Do you believe this idea is logical? I don't." He uttered, tail flicking before his forepaws as he settled amongst his haunches to alleviate the tension as adrenaline pumped through his veins.
"Don't you see? This proposition is absurd; my friends," His voice reverberated, rumbling in the depths of his throat as a scoff vacated his maw, "Is there truly a need to start warfare over a few fox-lengths? Such action can be discussed at the upcoming gathering; we are being irrational, especially you, Wildstep." Bullwasp's steely amber gaze diverted from the mass of cats to the specific individual who disrupted the Clan and provoked this distasteful frenzy. "Wildstep, you and I will further discuss your vulnerability privately; however, allow me to explain why we will not be raiding either of the Clans." Bullwasp paused briefly, snapping his stare back to the majority. "Now, I don't wish for any responses; I'd appreciate you asking yourselves these questions. Have you identified which Clan? And, am I expressing vulnerability by stepping foot onto another Clan's land without questioning them first?" Bullwasp spoke in his typical, monotonous, rugged voice and assumed the answers to both inquiries, allowing his clanmates to process those questions while monitoring their body language and facial expressions. He was disappointed in the Clan's urgency to render the opposing Clans, a soft sigh leaving the tom's nasal passages.
Wildstep was evidently frustrated, face contorted with rage due to the passive-aggressive comment Bullwasp had made. As Wildstep advanced, the tom spoke, rendering Bullwasp to furrow his brows. "Vulnerable? Aren't you being vulnerable, Bullwasp?" Wildstep questioned bitterly, and Bullwasp chuckled again, remaining coolheaded compared to his fellow clanmate. "No, my decision isn't conveying vulnerability. It's smart and will prevent any of you from potential harm. Who knows how strong our opposers are at the moment? You must be mindful of the situation. Bombarding them will only produce a worse scenario for everyone, especially with the Gathering approaching. Your rage is vulnerable. Take a breath, and stay calm. It's simple, Wildstep, as for the rest of you. Don't allow him to fool you, and it would be a possibly fatal mistake." And with that, he concluded, noticing the defeat on Wildstep's facade. The rally was at ease, consoled by Bullwasp's assertions.
SCENARIO 2:
Last gathering a certain apprentice, Mountainpaw, was seen talking to a ShoreClan apprentice. They seemed to get along well and their involvement with each other seemed innocent. You permitted Mountainpaw to attend another gathering and again the two hit it off well and spent most of the evening talking together. It was after that second gathering you were told of a recent bought of prey-stealing from a band of ShoreClan cats, they managed to cross into the territory undetected by means of a series of cat-sized crevices in the rocks that make a sort of tunnel. This tunnel is a well-kept OrchidClan secret, or so you thought, perhaps Mountainpaw's relationship with the ShoreClan apprentice isn't quite so innocent. How do you address this breach in security and ultimately Mountainpaw's judgment.
Bullwasp wasn't entirely sure where to begin, as he didn't want to corrupt the apprentice nor punish him. Bullwasp was terrified that this information would circulate to the rest of the Clans, which would interfere with the future. The first thought that crossed his mind was betrayal, and at this moment, the bachelor felt highly vulnerable, fearing that the other Clans might utilize the tunnel in the future to ransack his Clan. It was OrchidClan's tunnel, not for the use of the other Clans'. Bullwasp paced back in forth in the den, assembling his intruding introspections. The tom assumed the best thing to do was converse with the youthful feline, hoping to amass an understanding before taking additional action. Bullwasp kept an eye peeled for the apprentice, wondering where the youngster had been; perhaps off with that ShoreCLanner again. Peering out of the den, to his surprise, Mountainpaw was returning with his mentor, Coppermask. A sigh of relief escaped Bullwasp's maw, alleviated that the apprentice was meandering with the apprentice of ShoreClan. The whole thing was nervewracking, wrenching Bullwasp's core as he thought of OrchidClan, incompetent to articulating his sentiments physically.
Bullwasp didn't see efficiency in belittling the young OrchidClanner, as he didn't believe instigating him would do any good, nor was it reasonable in the tom's psyche. He dubiously ambulated in Mountainpaw's direction, calling out, "Mountainpaw, I would like to chat with you." He stated, vocals stern yet temperate. Apprehension filled the apprentice's vision, causing Bullwasp to believe Mountainpaw confirmed his questions simply by the dreadful gleam in his eyes. "Come with me." Bullwasp motioned the opposing bachelor with a flick of his tail, ascending onward toward the exit of camp. Trailing nervously behind him was Mountainpaw, seemingly cognizant of his wrongings. Shifting his gaze over his shoulder, Bullwasp began, "Do you know why ShoreClan stole prey from our land?" He inquired, falling silent as he awaited the feline's response. He was concerned that the tom would lie, but he approached the situation in hopes of preventing Mountainpaw from doing so. "No..." The apprentice quietly muttered, shuffling after Bullwasp.
"No, you say? That's interesting, Mountainpaw." He stated, vocals placid, laced with bitter undertones. "Your actions could get you in serious trouble, especially if you were a warrior, Mountainpaw. I'd hate to punish you, but you may have placed us in a crisis. You betrayed your Clan, Mountainpaw." He emphasized the sire's name, attempting to force comprehension upon the apprentice. It was as if he was guilt-tripping him, though, somewhat unintentionally. He merely desired the youngster to understand that there could've been or could be consequences due to his actions. "If anything goes wrong, there will be trouble for you, and I would prefer you remain safe as a member of OrchidClan, but how do I know I can trust you after informing you that ShoreClan apprentice of the tunnels? I understand you may simply be sharing your life in OrchidClan, but you can only disclose so much. You broke the Warrior Code, considering you've put our Clan in danger of raids and scarcity of prey. You will be monitored very closely from now on, but if I could ask, what was the apprentice's name?" Bullwasp hardly gave the apprentice a chance to intervene, as Mountainpaw hadn't given much input in the first place.
A soft murmur slipped from Mountainpaw's maw, understanding he made a mistake. "Her name is Snakepaw. I am very sorry for messing up, Bullwasp."
"It's okay, Mountainpaw. It wasn't intentional. Mistakes are necessary in life so we learn. But, another slip, and next time I won't be so easy. I suggest you remain loyal to the Clan who has provided you with resilience and willpower. Respect those who made you who you are, Mountainpaw. I look forward to seeing improvement in your behavior. Let's return now." With the upcoming gathering, he could discuss the situation with the ShoreClan leader, desiring the best for his Clan. He was concerned that his Clan would be taken advantage of, and he wanted to do everything in his power to prevent such from occurring.
SCENARIO 3:
A fellow OrchidClanner named Quickfoot has returned from a bloodstained scene with his former apprentice, Sandrunner. Quickfoot was bloodied, while Sandrunner's paws were stained with blood more than Quickfoot's. The two left with a third warrior named Dewcall, a she-cat who was close with Sandrunner and Quickfoot. From the looks of it, Sandrunner attacked Quickfoot and murdered Dewcall. Standing within the camp were two warriors with blood on their paws and flanks; it would be challenging to figure out who murdered who without observing the body. What must be done?
It was a shock as the two felines stumbled into OrchidClan camp, erupting murmurs and astonishment between their clanmates. Bullwasp dubiously hoisted himself upright, approaching the pair in a slothful trek. The group of felines made way for the behemoth tabby bachelor, whose gaze flickered between the possible murderers. Bullwasp harbored numerous questions, as there was no need for an instantaneous conclusion because they could've been working together. Bullwasp scrutinized each tom, registering the shaken breaths from Sandrunner, followed by the hysteria in his gaze. Was he the victim? Bullwasp stood before the toms, silenced while everyone shrouding the scene grumbled and muttered, unsure of what to think, wondering where Bullwasp was going with this. Despite the blood spill, he merely settled amongst his haunches, unperturbed by the circumstances. He was serene and level-headed as he prepared for the crisis he stood before, countenance placid as his breaths alleviated his cranium. "Each of you, please explain what is going on here," Bullwasp stated, and both of them attempted to communicate their situations, interrupting one another, "Ah, ah! One at a time, please." Bullwasp grumbled, a low growl reverberating in his throat.
Quickfoot started, causing his former apprentice to quiver, seemingly stressing what might happen to him. Bullwasp assumed his trembling was the paranoia of punishment, or acknowledging he'd wronged his Clan, the Clan he was allegedly loyal to. "W-We were out there hunting, and then Sandrunner mentioned a strange scent, where he led us deeper into the territory and killed Dewcall! T-Then he attacked me, probably hoping he'd get rid of evidence or something! He is dangerous!" It was clear Quickfoot was panicked, listening to the urgency in his voice. However, when observing Sandrunner's apprenticeship, he grew up with Dewcall and even trained together as apprentices. The two were close, nearly too close for Sandrunner to act out in such a way. The conditions were complicated to decipher since he didn't presume that either of those warriors would murder anyone. He was cognizant of Sandrunner's occasional outbursts and Quickfoot's eccentric mentality. The Clan grew louder in incredulity, watching as the scene unfolded. Next, Sandrunner began to voice in disbelief of Quickfoot's claims. "He's lying, Bullwasp! He's the one who murdered Dewcall! I loved her! He is explaining his own actions! He admitted to the crime, replacing himself as I!" The tom cried out, struggling to hold his stance as he crumbled to the terrain beneath.
Bullwasp glanced over his shoulder, picking out a few individuals he trusted, selecting them for their particular tracking abilities and substantial senses in their noses. "You heard them both; we must find Dewcall's body to decide their punishment. The murder seems like vengeance and barbarity. While I deal with them, Wildstep, this is your time to shine; please lead the patrol and take Talonstripe, Owlgaze, Galeclaw, and Redwing with you. Return to me with what you've learned from the incident. The smell of the killer will linger on Dewcall's body for hours. Go now. The longer we lounge around, the more challenging the definitive judgment will be." And with that, Wildstep sprinted off once gathering the patrol. Bullwasp believed Wildstep was a hotheaded rock-head, but he admired and valued the tom's hard work ethic knowing he'd return with beneficial information. "Until they return, I will monitor you two with two other warriors; consider yourself imprisoned for now." Bullwasp emitted a disappointed scoff, pivoting behind the toms to propel them forward as two warriors swathed their flanks. The two were kept in a small space, surrounded by desert-thorn bushes, guarded by Bullwasp and two other warriors.
A few hours passed, and Wildstep returned with what he learned and with Dewcall's cadaver for the mourning vigil. Wildstep approached Bullwasp with confidence radiating, "The scent is still very faint, but when I arrived, it was much more concentrated; it appears that Sandrunner didn't touch Dewcall but desired to protect her." Bullwasp nodded, slowly strolling toward Dewcall's lifeless frame. He investigated the physique, noticing the fur of Quickfoot's between her toes and claws. There was a transparent struggle. "Quickfoot, hereby, I exile you from COugarClan. You broke the code in such a cruel way, murdering your fellow clanmate. If you dare return, perhaps you'll be next. Run, Quickfoot...run!" He shouted, delirium and adrenaline pumping through his veins as he watched the tom break past the warriors and sprint. Bullwasp glimpsed at Wildstep, "Get him. Chase him." He stated, as three warriors bounded after him, shortly followed by Bullwasp. Five warriors scrambled after the fugitive, growling, and spitting taking place. Quickfoot was exiled, fearing OrchidClan would rip him to shreds if he didn't make it past the borders. For a reason, he earned the name Quickfoot, and he snaked out of the territory without another wound. If seen again, Bullwasp would probably desire to take his life; he was enraged.
