She was born to Meadowblaze and Breezedust alongside Applethistle, all of whom are now deceased. Her deceased mate, Darkflight, had two litters with her. Ashwhisper, Basilstar, Raindapple, Shadebreeze, and Flamerunner within the first litter. Her second comprised only Thistlekit. She was a senior warrior before becoming pregnant with her second litter.

A quiet, cool, and diligent tom, the eldest of his litter, was born to Petalthorn and Darkflight alongside Basilstar, Raindapple, Shadebreeze, and Flamerunner. From a distance, he can often be mistaken for Basilstar, due to their similar appearances. His only sibling from a different litter is Thistlekit.
