Character name: Wapatofur
Bio: A large, fluffy brown and white tom of Norwegian Forest Cat descent with perpetually tired green years. He is named after the wetland tuber (think swamp potato) and his thick, luscious coat (which is perhaps his only distinctive trait). To get straight to the point, Wapatofur is a cat who simply wants to be left alone but, tragically, is almost always thrust into the middle of drama. Patient, humble and quiet, he minds his business and yearns for the day when everyone decides to mind their own. A tom with shaky boundaries and a kind disposition, other cats can easily rope him into their mess, knowing if they can get him to promise to help them, he won't go back on his word, much to his distress. Even so, he has become quite the magician, mastering the ability to seemingly disappear and reappear at will when he senses drama approaching. When overwhelmed, his clanmates might only catch a glimpse of him every few days. But when he is pushed to his breaking point, they may never see him again. No better example of this is when he fled ShoreClan as a young warrior. Born to ShoreClan warriors, the middle child of three kits, Wapatofur was raised in a dysfunctional and neglectful family. While his siblings threw tantrums, gossiped, manipulated and backstabbed each other -- anything to get attention from their parents -- Wapatofur kept his head down until the constant in-fighting and anxiety became too much to bear. One night, he left without saying goodbye and joined GaleClan, where he expected to have a quiet life as dutiful warrior. But some things are not meant to be.

Which clan: GaleClan
Why: As soon as I read GaleClan's description, I fell in love with this clowder of cats. They remind me of WindClan in the warriors books to some extent, which I was obsessed with as a kid. I'd be honored to help Muffin shape and nurture this new clan, and make it an enjoyable place for members to create characters, roleplay and form plots. I see a lot of story and lore potential with even the clan's simple description "ambitious and traditional," and I can't wait to explore that -- even if it's just as a registered user. I envision making this clan my home, as evidenced by the fact I'm starting the gigantic Wapato Family Tree here. Any way that I can be involved with this clan, I want to be. 

If it helps, I've been a leader and a deputy on other sites in the past, so I have experience tending to a clan. It's time-consuming but incredibly worthwhile and meaningful. I can't wait to see what GaleClan becomes.

Character name: Dewkit -> Twistedpaw -> Twistedfoot
Bio:

Dewkit is your average kitten. Curious, full of life, and always fighting for what's right. Having been born to a passive mother and an overbearing father, she didn't really know what it was like to have a true, loving family. However, she views her clan as her family. The she-kit always tries to make friends with anyone she interacts with, even if she ends up making enemies in the process.

However, Dewkit can be very hotheaded, and her mouth can get her into a lot of trouble. It is a one-way tract between her thoughts and mouth. Dewkit also tends to be very relaxed and unserious at times, which tends to get the best of her.

If accepted for the medicine cat apprentice role, Dewkit, right before her apprentice ceremony, will end up breaking her front right paw severely. It will never heal correctly despite intervention, resulting in the foot to appear twisted and abnormal. The kit will not be able to ever put too much pressure on it and can only walk with a severe limp. A limp that would not allow her to be a warrior.

As she was recovering, she took a keen interest in the medicine arts, and would see if she could become a medicine cat apprentice instead, so that she did not have to live a sad life inside the elders den from a young age.
With the apprentice growing up, she will adopt a personality of being a kind, supportive medicine cat with strong opinion about the clan politics and morals. She would have a strong connection to her leader and deputy, seeking guidance from them but also giving the same when they wish for it. However, her mouth gets her into more trouble than helps at times.

Which clan: Orchidclan
Why:
Medicine cats are near and dear to my heart, as they were the first high rank positions that I held in roleplays when I was younger. In addition, I have never felt quite an affinity toward the other high ranks, than I do for this position. Medicine cats are the heart of the clan and pump life into all those that are within their care. I love the ability to create a new character for a role that isn't explored as much as a warrior or an apprentice.
In addition, I have been loving this site ever since I joined, and I cannot wait to fully get immersed into this realm! I'm so excited to get into the roleplay here and experience this wonderful site and characters. Plus, having a medicine cat apprentice as part of my characters would be icing on the cake.
Lastly, Twistedfoot was an OC that I had created many, many years ago that I roleplayed on an old game called Feralheart. I have been waiting for the best opportunity to bring her back, and I can't think of a better opportunity than this site!

Character name: Cloverfrost
Bio: A fluffy, thick-furred white she-cat with light, Seafoam green eyes. Her fur is soft but can become heavy after getting wet. Born to Icerose and Whitewhisker within OrchidClan alongside Cloudstone, Shiningfur, and Blazespirit, all of whom are now deceased. She has a habit of treating everyone like her littermate, one that was made after the passing of her own littermates, but she can be a pawful to deal with. Cloverfrost likes to do as she pleases. She does not like believing in something for the sake of the Clan. What is right to her is the belief she will act upon. Despite everything, she does love her Clan, but less as a thing that she has to serve and more as a family who takes care of one another. Cloverfrost, playful and sly, can be difficult to trust with important tasks, but she makes a point to be earnest.

Why: I thought that Morningstar and Cloverfrost would work well together as Leader and Deputy. I feel like Cloverfrost cares a lot about her Clan and the well-being of it, even if her methods are strange, and I feel as though OrchidClan may benefit from her. IDk I thought Morning and Clover would be cute.

Character name: Mellowkit/rain
Bio: A black faced, fluffy, white-cream Siamese tom with black paws and ice-blue eyes. Mellowkit was born as Musky to Buttercup and Benjamin alongside River. Mellowkit, as a Kittypet was to be sold to another home, separated from his family. Rather than letting himself be taken, he ran and found himself within ShoreClan. Being adopted, he promised his loyalty to his new family. Mellowkit's sharp nose allows games to be almost too easy, but never does he miss the chance to use such a big advantage. He is around five moons.

Why: I know too much about freaking Warrior cats medicine than I should...I might as well do something with it.

Character name: Burnetkit > Burnetpaw 
Bio: An amber-eyed, long-haired dark brown she-cat who is paralyzed from the waist down. While shorter in stature with a series of scars that mark her arms and stomach, her upper body is noticeably stronger and more muscular than average. After a near-fatal incident during her first moons of apprenticeship, Burnetpaw was struck by a monster along the Thunderpath, resulting in her paralysis. Despite this, and after a long recovery which made her the clan’s oldest apprentice, Burnetpaw is an optimistic and attentive she-cat who can always be seen with a smile and is more than happy to put her clan first. Deep down inside, she still wishes that she could have been a warrior and feels robbed of what she thinks to be her true destiny, and while Burnetpaw attempts to connect with StarClan for her new duties, Burnetpaw finds this to be an increasingly impossible task. More and more parts of her are beginning to doubt the traditions of StarClan and the Warrior Code, but she doesn’t dare speak up… not yet at least.

Which clan: Galeclan (preferably, but whichever works best!)
Why: I’m still decently new to roleplays in a forum/larger community setting, and I think I’d like to ease into it with a role that I’d be most comfortable in as I have way too much medicine cat knowledge that would perhaps come in handy sometimes, hehe. I also kept her bio a bit on the shorter side because I want a character that still has her own set personality and traits, but I want to keep many variables open for the purpose of roleplay and to have the events that happen to shape her as she grows!

Character name: Haildrift

Bio: A small, thin and lanky cat with short fur, a light brown coat that turns into dark black on his face, and a pair of striking, misty blue eyes. A nick in his ear comes from an unfortunate encounter with a fox. While his heart is often in the right place, his paws often are not. Haildrift is a clumsy cat, often criticized as messy and inattentive by others, and has a nature of pacifism seemingly to any cat, Orchidclan or not, however these criticisms don't get in the way of his confidence and ambitions (nearly as much as they did before). Haildrift has always been the smallest of his litter-- made up of Tornbrook and Heavydawn. As he was born as a she-cat, Haildrift now faces similar physical limitations when compared to his other male clanmates. Haildrift has made great strides to prove himself, but still feels a constant need to perform and push himself to the edge of his limitations-- sometimes to the point of overexertion if he’s not careful. Still, Haildrift is a fast learner and an excellent clanmate and friend, deeply loyal and loving to the very end.

Why: I’m able to roleplay quite often, and I think that having that availability is crucial for a deputy character. Also, I like the idea of a deputy that people don’t have complete faith in and think that could be a fun dynamic to explore.
