Name: Patchflower Age: 44 mons Clan: GaleClan Gender/Pronouns: Female, She/Her Rank: Perma-queen! APPEARANCE PERSONALITY Nurturing and loving, Patchflower's heart is both her greatest strength and greatest weakness. She can't stand to see anybody suffering and will always advocate for compassion. She loves her Clan, her family and friends, but if Patchflower knows the other Clans are in a bad way, she will always choose to help them.
It's made her horribly easy to manipulate. She's a sucker for a sob story. Kitten eyes too. That wide eyed look with tears gathered at the edges. You know the one. It's an unfortunate weakness that her brother is well aware and makes great use of.
History Daughter of Juniperfur and Skunknose, grand-daugher to Aesop. As a kit she was quiet and timid, often hiding away from the rest of the Clan in the nursery. Her brother was the loud one, often charging his way recklessly across camp in one game or another. He got most of the attention, which Patchkit was endlessly glad of.
When she was three moons old, another queen had kits. Amongst which was Ruddykit. Patchkit watched from afar as the other kits grew, wary of when they'd start getting as loud and rowdy as Burdockkit.
Ruddykit was never like that though, as soft-spoken and kind as Patchkit herself. He was never one for the spotlight either, and the pair bonded over it. Patchkit once confessed to him she was worried about becoming a warrior, and whether she should have become a medicine cat so she wouldn't have to hurt anybody.
Eventually she decided against it though. The thought of her entire Clan depending on her to heal them and speak with StarClan stressed her out. So she and Burdockkit became warrior apprentices together.
Patchpaw's mentor was nice enough, she supposed. A relatively new warrior but not so green behind the ears to be inexperienced. She was his first apprentice but by this time he'd led patrols and sat in on the training sessions of other apprentices to get observe, so he had SOME idea of what he was doing.
He wasn't prepared for her resistance to fighting. She had the instincts for it! At one point she NEARLY won a spar purely on instinctively bonking her opponent on the nose. Then she ruined it by scurrying over to them and asking frantically if they were okay and she was so sorry she didn't mean to hit so hard!
She was passable at hunting. Good enough at it to contribute to the freshkill pile. Same with tracking. It was clear he was becoming frustrated with her. Apparently how well a cat's first apprentice does as a warrior reflected on them.
